Wednesday, June 17, 1964 The Frances Hubbard Diaries

June 17, 1964
Wednesday, cool and windy.  I finished ironing and picked strawberries. Wrote to Marilyn.  Grandpa the same.  Last day of school for Sue, home at noon.  Gerald called at night saying he was staying in East Greenbush.
Comment: I got a cheap hotel room so did not have to do the two-hour round trip to the Bonded terminal. Still not sure what was wrong with Elmer. This is what was going on up there with Jeff, Elizabeth, Frances, and Wyatt on June 17, 2012.

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
