Saturday, June 13, 1964 The Frances Hubbard Diaries

June 13, 1964
Saturday cloudy and rain in am.  Roger Cohn here for dinner.  Clifton got water running from barn and fixed stove.  Clifton went to Dr. Lyons in pm and we stopped to see Grandpa on way home, he was quite a bit better.
Comment:  I met Roger the first week at Cobleskill Ag & Tech.  He was a paratrooper vet and we would wind up spending a lot of time together as well as roommates in a travel trailer (Uncle Earl's) when we both attended SUNY@Albany.  I took him on several truck runs delivering milk down along the Hudson to Peekskill. He became a Town Of Cobleskill Supervisor....Here he is with former wife Maureen just before me and Mary Ann's wedding in 1965...

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
