Friday, June 12, 1964 The Frances Hubbard Diaries

June 12, 1964
Friday, beautiful day, 70's, clear.  I washed in am and Evelyn and I went to Middleburgh.  I did some ironing in pm.  Clifton was home early and he and I went over to see Grandpa in the evening, he was some better.  Ina Belle came.  Vadna Buell had serious operation at Cooperstown.
Comment: Vadna and Bruce Buel were the landlords when Dad and Mom first got married and rented from them in Gilboa. The house they rented was the Gilboa Post Office when Uncle Merel was the Post Master for the town.....

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
