Comment:  Early spring so the construction jobs would probably be opening up. Jim and I both drove for HB Moore out of Windham hauling clinker from Cobleskill to the cement plants near Hudson NY.  Here is a picture of Marilyn and Jim's kids:  Marna, Dan and Patty in 1961 on the Hill...

Comment:  Phyllis must be Phyllis West and her daughter up to see Marilyn.  Not sure who Louis Mack was.  Betty Jean was Betty Jean Kingsley...Kool Aid ad from 1962...sure drank a lot of that during haying season.

Comment:  Must be something pretty wrong with Earl's cow.  A "fresh" cow is one that is having a calf and usually it is pretty routine with no help needed.  The cow usually isn't seen for a while and then is found with a newborn calf.......Here is Patty on the Hill at that time:

Happy Birthday Wayne Morris Hubbard, B 3.11.1946, D 12.3.2005, Age 59 years old.  His Uncle Earl and Aunt Madeline died at about the same age of heart problems.....does he look cool or what??

Bright, clear, cold, 15.  Clifton and David went to Windham and Albany.  I finished my dress.  Sue was home with a stiff neck and headache.
Comment:  Clear and cold bring back the memories of how beautiful it was in those mountains....from Visions Of Schoharie County:
You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
