June 28, 1964
Sunday, beautiful day. Mother, Norm, LaVerne, Roberta and Mary Ann here for dinner. They all went to Roxbury (young folks) to play golf in pm. Mother and I picked a few berries. No church in pm. Girls and I went in the morning.

Comment: Dinner was the noon meal so we played golf in the afternoon. here is a picture of the family in 1963.....
You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
