Tuesday, March 17, 1964 The Frances Hubbard Diaries

March 17, 1964
Tuesday, very windy in am, warm, 70's and 80's.  I ironed.  Marilyn worked from 2 pm to 10.  Kids here and Kathy Goodman too.  Jim here for supper.  We went downtown For supper, bought Sue sneakers.  Doug called from Virginia.  $100 unemployment check came.
Comment: Not a word about St. Patrick's Day even thought there is some Irish blood on the Barber side somewhere.......and I betcha you did not know this from Wikipedia:
