Friday lovely day. Carol still at Marilyn's. Marilyn and Anita went to Friends Church at noon, Carol baby sat at Anita's. Marilyn and Anita rode bicycles in pm. Carol stayed at Marilyn's overnight again. Bad earthquake in Alaska.
Comment: The Good Friday Earthquake was a 9.2 quake, making it at the time the second largest in recorded history. A woman who worked for me was there and and said Anchorage was without water and power for about 3 months and the quake was so severe that she remembers the ground rolling like large ocean waves....
