March 25, 1963 The Frances Hubbard Diaries

March 25, 1963
Monday, beautiful day mostly sunny 60. Sue was home with a cold. I took Clifton to Schoharie in am to have a tooth out. Started to wash when we got home.  Had about 1/2 done and plunger broke. Hung everything out. Snow going fast. Cabbage seeds up already. Had a letter from Dougie.
Comment:  Weather breaking, some mechanical difficulties, but the views could always lift one's mood......Spring view toward South Mountain from the tower....before everything turned green....

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
