Wednesday, March 31, 1965 The Frances Hubbard diaries

March 31, 1965 Wednesday, sunny and very windy and cold, 7-22.  I washed fixed Doug's sailor pants and a shirt for Laverne and did little cleaning.  Clifton, the girls and I went to LaVerne and Roberta's at night. They had gone to Mass. after parts.  Gail and Diane were there.  Mrs. Renz and family came while we were there.
Comment: Must be going to Mass for parts for the charcoal plant. Mom still busy.

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
