March 21, 1965 The Frances Hubbard Diaries

March 21, 1965
Sunday, sunny, windy, cold, 4-8.  Girls and I went to church and Sunday School LaVerne and Roberta and John here for dinner.  They and David went to Hudson in pm and called on Paul and Norma.  Doug went back to Kingston at night.
Comment: Paul is Paul Ellis, son of Madeline Hubbard Ellis and Clarence Ellis, brother of Doris and Glendon Ellis. Madelyn died at 58 of a heart attack and her son Glendon died from a heart attack in his forties...Paul got kicked through a window by a cow when he farmed our Uncle Earl's farm about a mile west of ours on Hubbard Road.....here is my recounting of this event: Three Chord Talking Blues Style

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
