Tuesday, March 16, 1965 The Frances Hubbard Diaries

March 16, 1965
Tuesday, cloudy with snow flurries. Clifton and I went to Cobleskill and mother's for dinner.  David went to Albany and tried test for first class license, he passed.  Carson went with him.
Comment: Carson is Carson Stryker who drove trucks and owned trucking companies for many years.....for a history of how the big rigs looked through the years, take a listen to this little known trucking song by Gene Watson..seems like I never got to drive the shiny, new ones...

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
