Friday, March 5, 1965 The Frances Hubbard Diaries

March 5, 1965
Friday, cloudy, 40, east wind.  I washed, David went for physical to Oneonta.  Started to snow about 5 pm.  We went down to LaVerne's and had to put chains on David's car.  Below Hubers about 4 in. of snow, wet, stuck to everything.  Boelens hit a tree in front of Jay Mattice's because of snow.  Sue (Mrs. Boelens) had bad cut on forehead and went to hospital.  Carol and Susan stayed at LaVerne and Roberta's.
Comment:  Late snow....I remember one time we had snow in May and it closed the schools for a couple of days..,....
