Monday, 26 March, 1962, The Frances Hubbard Diaries

Monday, 26 March, 1962, The Frances Hubbard Diaries
Fourtie's, nice day.  Clifton and Jim went to Windham and around to look for a job.  Marilyn and I cooked and cleaned the house.  Had a letter from Doug, he thought he would come home next week.
Comment:  Early spring so the construction jobs would probably be opening up. Jim and I both drove for HB Moore out of Windham hauling clinker from Cobleskill to the cement plants near Hudson NY.  Here is a picture of Marilyn and Jim's kids:  Marna, Dan and Patty in 1961 on the Hill...

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
