Monday, 19 March, 1962, The Frances Hubbard Diaries

Monday, 19 March, 1962, The Frances Hubbard Diaries
Nice day. 35 degrees.  We, (Jim's and us) went to Stamford in am and stopped where LaVerne works. Phyllis and Sheilla and LaVerne and Roberta were here in afternoon.  Billie called and said Louis Mack was in hospital with blood clot and Betty Jean was in hospital too.
Comment:  Phyllis must be Phyllis West and her daughter up to see Marilyn.  Not sure who Louis Mack was.  Betty Jean was Betty Jean Kingsley...Kool Aid ad from 1962...sure drank a lot of that during haying season.

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
