Sunday, 3 June, 1962, The Frances Hubbard Diaries

Sunday, 3 June 1962, The Frances Hubbard Diaries
Sunny, 70.  We went to church and Sunday School.  LaVerne, Roberta, and Mr. Mayo were here for dinner.  Marilyn and Jim and the kids went over to Mother's in pm.  We rode around the Mountain and got pinksters, stopped at Earl's awhile and Grandpa and Louise were here in the evening.  Brink paid us for the logs.
Comment:  Sounds like a nice day..and some money came in...Wow..googled pinkster and came up with lots of stuff other than a pink flower:

Pinkster: Agreeably British GinA Pinkster is the alpha female

 in a wolf pack.

Maybe it's just Mom's spelling.....

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
