Tuesday, 3 November 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries
Warm, '50s in am, becoming clear and much cooler.  Clifton didn't work because of rain in am and he and I and David worked on the heater all day.  Got it working at 530 pm.  LaVerne's called a minute at night with their new Chrysler, lovely car.
Comment:  That's about 4 man-days work on the heater.....don't remember LaVerne's new car.....get together at Clifford And Evelyn Taylor's house on Rt 145 in Franklinton showing some of our cars:  From left, LaVerne, Rudy, Glenn Taylor, Clifton J, Gerald E,  James Barry, Doug, Wayne...Uncle Earl's Mercury is first car or right and my Olds 98 Convertible the third from right...about 1960, the year I got out of the army....Sad to say that five of the party are now deceased:  Uncle Rudy, Glenn, Dad & Wayne, James Barry.

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
