Tuesday, 22 November, 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries

Tuesday, 22 November, 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries
Another beautiful, clear, sunny day, 54 high, no wind.  I baked in am.  Clifton came home 1030 am, he was about sick with flu or a cold.   David left 1030 am for Syracuse. I did some sewing and ironing.  Girls had a game at night here.  Mother called in am.
Comment:  Dad must have been really sick, took a lot to put him down..Dad in his prime about 28 years old, and Mom about 23 in 1936 or so with Marilyn and LaVerne in the house they rented from Bruce Buel which later became the Gilboa Post Office.....

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
