Saturday, 2 July, 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries

Saturday, 2 July, 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries
Sunny, hot, 86 degrees.  Doug and David went to Oneonta in am.  We went to Wayne's and LaVerne's in am.  Clifton went to Doc Tepfer for his lips, arms and hands.  Worked on Rambler in the afternoon.
Comment:  A scorcher for Hubbard Hill.  Dad would get some sort of chapping like infection particularly on his lips and hands that seemed to never go away.  Not sure where it came from....I my tribute to him, I talk about him using Bag Balm ointment but I guess it didn't work that well......another Summer view on the Hill...Carol, Sue, Mary Ann Doug...

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
