Saturday 16, July, 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries

Saturday 16, July, 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries
Sunny, clear, 70's.  We took the girls to Oneonta to sing with Wayne in am.  We left here 7 am.  Laura and baby came home with us and Wayne was here for supper.  Clifton and I went to Norton Hill and around looking for a rake in pm.  David went to National Guard.
Comment:  Not sure what kind of rake they were looking for, maybe one to use on the road Dad was building awhile ago....I'll bet they sang Wings Of A Dove.....too bad I don't have a recording but, almost as good, here is Dollie's version....

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
