Friday, 29 July, 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries

Friday, 29 July, 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries
Partly cloudy, cool, windy.  Sue and I went for Doug at 730 am to Kingston.  I washed in pm.  Carman's brought Carol home 530 pm.  We went to LaVerne's at night.  I finished rush chair.  Phyliss Clapper died.  We had letter and cards from Marilyn.
Comment:  Peter Rossi, Game Warden, supervised the fire tower, 1972-1986.  I went to school with him.  He was a cousin of Camilla Acello, a high school girlfriend from North Blenheim..

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
