Wednesday, June 23, 1965 The Frances Hubbard Diaries

June 23, 1965
Wednesday, fair, hot and humid, 80, showers towards nite.  I sewed on Sue's pink 2 piece dress and tapered 2 pair pants.  Picked strawberries in am.  Called Norma (Enke) and talked to her husband.  David didn't work, he and Doug fixed tractor and mowed. Wayne and Sue went to Koerners for picnic and camping.  Clifton,  Carol and I went to LaVerne's at nite.  Patsy and John only ones there.
Comment:  Summer view to the tower...

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
