Sunday, June 20, 1965 The Frances Hubbard Diaries

June 20, 1965
Sunday, beautiful day, 70's and 80's.  Carol, Sue, Mary Ann, Norma, Linney and I went to church.  Sue and I stayed to Sunday School.  We were at LaVerne's for dinner.  Doug and Wayne left for Virginia 3 pm.
Comment:  Norma is Norma Enke, and I think Linney is her mother or sister.  They were neighbors who bought Uncle Earl's farm and built a very nice house between Earl's and Dad's farm about a half mile away.

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
