Friday, April 16, 1965 The Frances Hubbard Diaries

April 16, 1965
Friday, 40-30's.  Cloudy and cold, windy.  I washed and hung clothes upstairs; finished hemming in my coat.  Roberta brought girls home in afternoon.  Wayne and Robert went job hunting.  Gerald and Mary Ann came in at night and stayed.  David came for supper.
Comment:  Robert must be Robert Schemerhorn, son of  "Wild Bill" Schemerhorn who lived at the top of Bull Hill.

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
