Tuesday, September 22, 1964 The Frances Hubbard Diaries

September 22, 1964
Tuesday, 68, beautiful, warm, sunny day.  I made peach pie and lasagna in am and took over to Louise's.  Lorraine, Winnie, Evelyn and Clifford came before I left at 11:30.  Mother called in am and Myrtie and Ella took girls to Stamford after school for shoes.  Clifton called while we were gone.  Saw LaVerne and Roberta a minute; they were on their way to Andes.
Comment: Cooking and gathering for the death events...Here is thewhole Elmer Hubbard family as young adults with spouses and children....anyone left who can name them, besides me?

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
