Saturday. Mostly fair but cool. I cleaned up the house for the weekend. Sue took her music lesson in the pm. Clifton the girls and I went to Schoharie at night to music festival. David went out and didn’t get home until night. He and Kip ? went to Syracuse. Lorraine, Howard and Marsha left for Florida. Had a letter from Marilyn. Jim had quite his job and was working for a contractor and they moved this weekend.
Comment: Lot's of stuff going on, David on the prowl, changes for Marilyn and Jim.
Lorraine was Dad's sister born May 11, 1912 and died May 2, 1991. She was married twice, the last time to Howard Vaughn and had two children with him, Marsha and Roger.
I've heard that, after being married for only a short time, her first husband began to hit her and she went home to the hill where her family protected her. Marsha lives in Tennessee and travels with sister Marilyn. Roger is deceased.
