Wednesday, 16 May, 1962, The Frances Hubbard Diaries
Sunny, hot, 80.  Marilyn, children and I called on Mary Schermerhorn  and Madalyn Blakesley in am.  I started to clean my bedroom.  We put geraniums and petunias in window boxes.  Prayer meeting was here at night.
Comment:  Quite warm for the hill at this time of year......the box was probably something like this home-made one.......

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
