Saturday, 5 May, 1962, The Frances Hubbard Diaries

Saturday, 5 May, 1962, The Frances Hubbard Diaries
Sunny, warmer, 65 degrees.  Clifton didn't work, he fixed track on the garage door.  I washed.  Marilyn, children and I went over to get tire fixed and to Grandpa and Louise's in am.  Marilyn and the kids went down to Stella's in pm with Jim and stayed for supper.  Stella brought them home and David went to Junior Prom at Roxbury. Alton Scutt got hay.  Ethridge got 50 bales.  Wayne's license came.
Comment:  Seems like lots going on...the nephews and nieces on the hill, mid seventies....can you name them...

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
