Monday, 7 May, 1962, The Frances Hubbard Diaries

Monday, 7 May, 1962, The Frances Hubbard Diaries
Cloudy, windy, cold, 35.  I washed.  Sue was home sick with a cold.  Sue and I went to Prattsville and Gilboa in pm after meat and groceries.
Comment:  Chore day....pop history:  It was Monday, under the sign of Taurus. The US president was John F. Kennedy (Democratic). In that special week of May people in US were listening to Soldier Boy byThe Shirelles. In UK Nut Rocker by B Bumble & The Stingers was in the top 5 hits. A Taste of Honey, directed by Tony Richardson, was one of the most viewed movies released in 1962 .  Gotta love that good old rock and roll.....seems so simple now....

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
