Sunday, 4 December, 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries

Sunday, 4 December 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries
Cloudy, cold, minus 12 to 20.  Girls and I went to church and Sunday School.  We went to Laverne's and Wayne's in the afternoon and ate supper at LaVerne's.  Helene came back home with Doug and Sue and I picked up Patty and went to church at night.  A missionary from Alaska, Paul Weemax.  Very good and beautiful slides.  David started work at Albany felt Company.
Comment:  Busy Sunday as usual....not sure who Helene or Patty are....no previous references in the Diaries.....The Flat Creek Baptist Church from the 2015 Calendar by Dennis Ford, Sister Marilyn's son-in-law married to Marna, her oldest daughter.  See more at www.DENNISRFORD.COM....wonderful photographer.....go to his PDF files and take a look at his Salton Sea Stories Portfolio...stark and startling beauty......

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
