Thursday, October 14, 1965 The Frances Hubbard Diaries

Thursday, October 14, 1965
From Susan.  I couldn't read it:  Beautiful day, 60 degrees. I canned carrots, made conserve (which was a thick jam which she made out of peaches, nuts (probably the butternuts), cherries – “Peach Conserve” DELICIOUS!).  Mrs. Mayo (Pastor’s wife and I each took a load (of people or kids) to Berne (a local Baptist Church Flat Creek associated with) to hear Jack Wagelyen (?) at night.
