Thursday, April 16, 1964 The Frances Hubbard Diaries

April 16, 1964
Thursday, lovely, warm day.  Left motel in Little Creek 6:20 and dropped Doug off at base 6:45 am and headed for Hampton Tunnel.  Fredericksburg at 10:30 and Clifton and David signed up for unemployment after we ate breakfast.  Spent afternoon touring Washington D.C.
Comment:  Early start, not sure how they signed up for unemployment, maybe by phone or mail.  They did about 200 miles......

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
