Rainy, foggy, Wayne was home, we all three went to Cobleskill and Mother's for dinner.
Comment:  Unemployment sign up.......Aunt Winnie on Student Council, 1936, Savella Beers was my 4th grade teacher and of course Mr. Peckham threw me out of school about five times or so.....fond memories....

1) Mr Peckham
He told me I had to spend each noon hour in the office until I had a 75% average in Latin. (I may have done something wrong) After several weeks he knew he had set the bar too high, so he told me to stay out of the office. Six years later he hired me as a teacher.
2) Savella Beers
Mrs. Maben (Beers) was also my fourth grade teacher. I taught for 37 years, and she was one of the top two teachers I know.
