Saturday, 4 June 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries

Saturday, 4 June 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries
Beautiful day 70's, hot.  Clifton and I made garden in am.  David and Carol worked on lawn.  Sue went to Corning on bus, class trip.  We shopped at Middleburg in pm and over to Wayne's for supper.  Went to church at night, Carol and I, nice crowd.
Comment:  They usually put in a pretty big garden with wide rows to use the tractor to prepare and cultivate...

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
