Saturday, 28 May 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries

Saturday, 28 May 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries
Cloudy, humid, overcast, 60's.  Clifton and I went over Pisca to Lyle Haner's place, stopped and called on Tom Haskins then went to Greenville after steak.  Called on LaVerne and Robert.  Sue came home with us.  Gilbert here in the afternoon.  They went out with Donna a J at night.
Comment:  Sounds like a pleasant Saturday afternoon...here is Tom Haskin on his senior trip in 1954...Hartford Keith on the right......he was a second cousin to me and his father Leonard, was a close friend of my father.  Lyle Haner was also some sort of distant relation or at least a close friend of the Hubbard family.....

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
