Monday, 9 May, 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries

Monday, 9 May, 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries
Cloudy, cold, 30-27, freezing rain, sleet and snow and more snow at night.  I washed and hung clothes in attic.  David home 130 pm.  I wrote to Marilyn.
Comment:  Sounds like a bleak Monday....weather was tough on the hill.  I remember once school was canceled because of about 3 feet of snow toward the end of May.

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
