Saturday 2 April, 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries

Saturday 2 April, 1966, The Frances Hubbard Diaries
Partly cloudy and cold, snow flurries, 30's.  Clifton, the girls and I went to Mother's for dinner, had Frank Decker make out income tax and we went on to Montgomery Ward shopping.  Got girls each a coat, Sue two dresses and Carol one.  I went to business meeting at church at night.  David went to National Guard.
Comment:  A little spring shopping splurge...You could get your income tax done in 1966 for $5.....

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
