Saturday, partly cloudy, 60's cooler toward night. Clifton, Sue, and I went over to Marilyn's in am. Sue and I went downtown and did some shopping. Marilyn and Jim and the kids over here at about 4 pm. Carol and Sue went over there and babysat while they went to a farewell party.
Comment: Hmm..Kinda typical day. This was the week the Beatles dominated American music. It's hard to overestimate the musical effect of the Beatles during that time: "In an achievement unlikely to ever be equaled, for the week of 4 April 1964, The Beatles occupied the top five positions of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. In all, they had 12 places on the US chart.
