Thursday, February 27, 1964 The Frances Hubbard Diaires

February 27, 1964 Thursday, nice day 60's.  Marilyn and Dean here in am.  I hemmed some dresses.  Clifton and I went to Escondido in pm.  We all went to hear Bev Shea at Russ Auditorium at San Diego, Wayne, Marilyn and Liz Walter went with us,  stopped at Poway Bowl for cokes on the way home

Comment: They seem to go to Escondido a lot...wonder if this is where they stopped for Cokes...and George Beverly Shea, at 102, was honored at the Grammies in 2011, so he must have been a pretty big deal back then.....
