Sunday, beautiful day, 79. We went to Sunday School then Jim's and us went to the desert, Salton Sea, Palm Springs and home about 7:30. Palm Springs a beautiful place but very hot in summer. Very windy at night. We ate picnic dinner in the desert and the wind started to blow and it was quite a sand storm. Salton Sea very rough. Had letter from Roberta saying LaVerne's throat was bothering him again.
