Monday, 2 July, 1962, The Frances Hubbard Diaries
Beautiful day, clear, 45 in am, 70's pm. I washed and worked in the garden a little. Gerald went to work 7am. He called for someone to to go with him at night with a load of charcoal to Worcester, MA after he got back from Peekskill.
Comment: Gonna be along day...I remember that run. David John went with me and drove after I started hallucinating. To avoid tolls, had to run Rt 20 with all its steep hills, small towns and low bridges...was not fun...from and old trucker song.."there ain't no easy runs"......
