Monday, 26 February, 1962, The Frances Hubbard Diaries

Monday, 26 February 1962, The Frances Hubbard Diaries
Rainy, 34 to 39.  Clifton and I went to Windham in am, stopped at Betty's a minute, Tom is in Canada.  I washed in pm.  I had a letter from Marilyn.
Comment:  Wonder if Tom was skiing in Canada.....he was one of the good guys...here is his Obituary.....unfortunately, it does not convey his kindness and respect he showed to some of his less fortunate cousins....never knew he was born in Ohio, I did not know his sisters, I do remember his father. Tom died about six years younger than I am now which is certainly a cause for reflection....

You're always young in your mind it is said, No matter the face in the mirror, That you see with surprise then say to yourself, "What is that old man doing here?"
