Monday, clear, sunny and hot, 82. Girls and I went to Vacation bible School. Had letter from Marilyn. Gerald wasn't working. Wayne worked for LaVerne. David went to NYC with Tommy Renz, left 12:30 at night.
Comment: The charcoal is flowing but the asphalt is not...after training for the asphalt job, I did not get a call for a couple of days. I think I quit about a week later or so... The Bible school was held at Ferris Camp, owned by Louise Ferris Hubbard, married to Elmer, our grandfather.
