Wednesday, February 5, 1964 The Frances Hubbard Diaries

February 5, 1964
Wednesday, beautiful sunny day, 70's.  I made rolls.  Kathy Goodman was here with a  4 year old and Ricky Barken, a 6 yrs old, in pm.  I took them home 5:45 pm.  Comment: The family certainly seems to have melded into the community.  Mom's rolls were to die for, fresh out of the oven, loaded with melted butter.   ....this is how I remember the rolls looking.  After they baked, mom would spread butter on the tops when they were still hot....

  1. From Marilyn:Those rolls look so good. Thanks again Gerald. We really were very social and had a good time. I remember it was a little lonely when they went home. The cruise was great fun. "M"
